Free 15-Minute Phone Consultation
If you would like to briefly discuss your concerns before booking, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
This provides an opportunity to talk about what is happening for your child, ask questions about the counselling process, and consider whether it feels like the right fit for your family.

How the Process Works
1. Free Phone Consultation
If you would like, we can begin with a brief 15-minute phone call to discuss your concerns and determine whether counselling may be helpful for your child.
2. Initial Parent Consultation
If you decide to proceed, the first appointment is an initial parent consultation without your child present. This session provides an opportunity to discuss your child’s history, current concerns and goals for therapy.
3. Child Therapy Sessions
Following the parent consultation, counselling sessions begin with your child. Sessions are tailored to your child’s developmental stage and individual needs.
4. Parent Check-In Sessions
Parent consultations are scheduled periodically throughout the therapeutic process (usually every 5–6 sessions) to discuss progress and explore ways to support your child outside of sessions.
Child Therapy Sessions
45 minutes – $193.99
Sessions focus on supporting your child’s emotional wellbeing through therapeutic support tailored to their individual needs.
Time outside the session is also dedicated to clinical reflection, documentation and treatment planning to support your child’s progress.
If your child has a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $87.25 per session, resulting in an out-of-pocket cost of $106.74.
Medicare currently allows up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year.
Parent Consultation Sessions
45 minutes – $193.99
Parent consultations provide an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, share observations, explore strategies to support your child at home or school, and collaborate on goals for therapy.
With a Mental Health Care Plan, up to two of the 10 Medicare sessions per calendar year may be used for parent consultations without the child present.
Reports and Letters
Reports, letters and other written documentation can be provided if required.
Fees vary depending on the time required and will be discussed prior to commencement.
Please note that Medicare rebates do not apply to written reports or letters.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
Due to the high demand for mental health services, appointment times are valuable and often difficult for other families to access at short notice. When an appointment is booked, that time is reserved specifically for you.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows the appointment to be offered to another family who may be waiting for support.
The full session fee will automatically be charged to your credit card for appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Arrival Time
To make the most of your appointment, please arrive on time. If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time as other appointments may follow.
The full session fee will still apply, even if the session is shortened due to late arrival.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
